| A
COMMUNITY OF CARE-GIVERS |
|
The communities of Pretoria North/Akasia in the very heart of the City of Tshwane, right on the edge of the vast Northern half of the city, have not escaped the ills that plague most of our country. Neither are the inhabitants shying away from their communal responsibilities.
Here several organisations are making a valiant attempt to assist the ill, elderly, poor, handicapped, HIV/AIDS victims, homeless and other disadvantaged persons who experience all kinds of social problems. |
| Tshwane North Community
Development Forum |

The services they offer, are delivered without prejudice regarding
race, class, gender or religion.
These organisations make a huge difference in the lives of
individual persons and families and in the well-being of the area. |
| How can you support the Forum and its member organisations? |
- Challenges are increasing as growing numbers of people experience social problems and
as needs increase.
- Insufficient manpower, funding and facilities make it increasingly difficult to reach the goal
of effective service delivery to individuals and families.
To achieve their goals, the Forum and its members rely on your support and input.
- Whatever you offer, can be put to good use.
The Forum welcomes help and participation in any form, whether it is in the form of time or skills
shared, donations, availability of facilities and services. Please contact us for more information.
